The HP fandom absolutely overlooks female characters, but then again... so does the HP canon author, IMO. When I saw this Ficathon advertised I jumped in immediately, without th faintest clue what to write about. But I just knew it was a great idea for a group of stories, and I wanted to be a part of it. :)
