Oh, I love that episode! I was so sure, all the way through, that they wouldn't put her on the court - I love surprise positive endings.

Though I am of the opinion that if we wanted CJ to have a realistic chance in sequels, she'd probably have to pick up some men somewhere in there, but it'd certainly be intresting to see all female government

I think that's kind of what Amy's getting at with 'don't get too far away from women's issues' - that actually this is as much about making the point that men aren't a necessary part of a campaign as it is about winning, because would a male candidate pick up some female staff? Probably not, if he didn't have them already. Though yes, she would undoubtedly acquire men in various positions if she won - I'd love to bring Charlie back, for example.
