I think that's kind of what Amy's getting at with 'don't get too far away from women's issues' - that actually this is as much about making the point that men aren't a necessary part of a campaign as it is about winning, because would a male candidate pick up some female staff? Probably not, if he didn't have them already. Though yes, she would undoubtedly acquire men in various positions if she won - I'd love to bring Charlie back, for example.
