There's something not exactly uplifting, but nice-for-the-reader in the ending and Hermione's acceptance of her fate. Except now I'm thinking "how much wouldn't she have died if she hadn't know she was going to?" Great tone through the whole thing. Especially "Tell me again why it is such a dangerous and awful thing to do, mucking around with the timeline?" because of the juxtaposition of the phrasing of the sentence with the use of 'mucking.'
And I liked the sense of paradox in protect it from paradox, the sense of greater forces.
