This is a really fabulous prompt, especially as I can use it to apply to my favourite female character in the series.

Question: I understand this is a gen-ficathon, but I want to deal with the grief that one of the characters suffered through HBP as a result of a ruined relationship. I don't want to deal with the love or relationship side of it, but moreso the day-to-day coming to terms with loss and its affects upon her physical and mental health. If I can't do this because of the relationship angle, then I'll understand, but this is very much gen-based in my own concept.
