One nitpick: Binge drinkers can be alcoholics too. I did some work for a DUI attorney and met a lot of recovering alcoholics - some drank heavily every day, some only two or three times a month, but the key to their being alcoholics vs. merely heavy drinkers is that they couldn't stop when they wanted to. (And this post is proof of Somebody's Law - give a character a disease/condition, and at least one reader will have an opinion about same. :) )
