I love your take on Rosemerta. I know quite a few women like this in RL: smart, strong women who've had to struggle to carve a place for themselves in the world and have managed to succeed on their own terms, and your Rosemerta fits in beautifully. The "partners" in each section are well-defined, and believable both in terms of canon and characterisation; I'm particularly fond of your Narcissa: pampered, sheltered and entirely dependent on others, as very young women from that class often are.
My only quibble is that I can't see Molly ever countenancing the idea of abortion (I see her as more likely being vituperatively anti-choice), much less contemplating the possibility for herself, regardless of how strained the family's financial situation. But this is a small quibble. The overall impression is "wow!". :D
