Hi! I found my way here from a recs journal and honestly, this is one of the best pieces of writing that I've read in a while. I love the idea and all of the individual stories all woven together with Rosmerta as the common thread.

I'm a New Yorker, and I've always thought about what it would be like to be a cab driver or a doorman for an apartment building because these are people who are in the periphery and who we always take for granted, and it would just be so interesting to be them for a day, like a fly on the wall, and just find out what is it that they see and hear on a daily basis. They've probably heard so many important and interesting stories just because they're overlooked. Anyway, your story reminded me of that, because Rosmerta is like that person that you always take for granted and talk to them, but isn't really influenced by them.

But anyway, thank you for your story, really, it's lovely. I'll keep an eye out for anything else that you write.
