I also have a question about the eligibility of my fic that hadn't really occurred to me until now - my fic deals with Tonks doing her job as an Auror, and in one of the sections of the story she interviews another female character who's been raped by Death Eaters. It's not explicit (in either the detailed or the graphic/offensive senses), it deals with the aftermath rather than the actual act, and it is only a contributing part of the fic rather than the sole focus. The rules do say no rapefic, though, and I want to make sure I'm working within them. I guess what I wish to know is where the boundaries are in defining rapefic. I have no problem with removing that section if it's outside of those boundaries. On that token, actually, I want to ask what seems a stupid question, but I need to clarify - a gen fic can be rated NC-17, yes? Not for "sexual situations" (I wouldn't really put rape under that umbrella anyway), but for violence, for the sections that involve murders and a suicide and disturbing imagery.
