I have been saving this up to read, and I wanted to comment here in the comm. I loved how you worked the prompt, and I think you took us on a trip through Suzie's mind that was partly chilling, partly crazy, all parts real and devastating. We're in her mind, following all her streams of thought, and you do a great job of tangling them up and then smoothing them out. I loved it.
