Oh, wow. This is just magnificent. I love how you've taken what we know of Molly from the books -- the mother, the cook, the caretaker -- and given her a context that makes perfect sense. Of course she's doing it because of everything she can't bear to remember. Of course she throws herself into caring obsessively for everybody around her because if she stops even for a moment, she will inevitably remember. Because wars don't end for survivors; they're always lingering even if others can't see. Marvellous job!
