Here from crack_broom and so glad I came! This was an absolutely wonderful look into these characters, all of whom I think got overlooked in DH. Petunia rallying to clean the safe house was sad and lovely in a way. And Hermione's desperation, anger, and devotion after Ron left was perfectly played. I particularly liked Minerva's thoughts after Harry crucioed the Carrow-- because I was right there with her! I couldn't believe he'd done it and was a little scared at how easily he did and how much satisfaction he got from it. And I really loved the section about Pansy-- because it really made sense and I could understand her point of view, even if I don't agree with it. I really enjoyed these looks into women on both sides of the war and how you gave everyone a sense of understanding and just let them be themselves without the writing telling us who's "good" or "bad." A really satisfying piece of writing!
