FemGen Open Season

This year, I've had a few people drop out of
femgenficathon (not surprising, as it's been a bad year for everyone). This is the first year I haven't had a whole list of people on the waiting list for quotations, so this time I'm going to do something a little different.
This year I'm opening the dropped quotation prompts to anyone who hasn't already signed up. You want to participate? You still can. ETA: There are onlythree four dropped prompts, so this means that more than one person can use the same prompt.
The rules are here, but it's pretty simple--write a gen story about a canonical woman from any fandom. And you can stretch a point and write backstory for characters that are little more than names; we've had stories about such characters before, and they've been excellent. Yes, you can have romance in your story, but you can't make the the point of the story. Focus on the women doing things in their own right and being awesome.
The deadline is October 15th.
And here are the quotations. ( Take your pick. )
