Two Days to Femgenficathon!

The anthology is DONE!
(Actually, it's been done since early Saturday morning. But I spent yesterday crashing.)
There's no point in starting on a holiday weekend, however. So signups for FemGen will start on Tuesday, May 31. They will be open for a week or until the last prompt is taken, whichever comes first. Each participant will get up to three prompts (you can ask for one, two or three prompts), and each prompt can be taken by two people.
I'm sticking with the 2.5 month schedule this year. So posting will start on August 15 and will run through September 8 (a bit over three weeks of posting time--I'm allowing for the Labor Day weekend in America).
Your posts will be moderated. That's because, over the past year, the comm has been plagued by spammers and bots. I've also gotten a number of requests to join from people who might have just gotten a journal but who had absolutely nothing in it, and I've had one person join who ended up posting porn. Moderation seems the fairest and the most sensible route. I'm sorry about this and I wish that it were not necessary.
Finally, I know that this year FemGen will be competing with a number of other ficathons that are starting signups around the same time, and I'm sorry about that. I hope that you participate in this one; if you choose another fest, then I wish you the best of luck with your story, art, vid, etc. If you decide you have too many commitments and you just can't do it this year...believe me, I understand. And I hope you'll be back when you have more time.
To those of you who have waited so patiently for so long...thank you so much for doing so, and for caring about this fest. I hope this year will be the most fantastic of all.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.
