A fascinating twist I didn't see coming at all and a very plausible take on Petunia's psychology, and the way her attitude changes from when she was a child to when she was an adult, and the possible reasons "She would never be a freak like her sister. No. No, she would never be a target, like her sister". A very good way of interpreting the "but ..." of that JKR interview.
