Oh this is gorgeous. Breathtaking, really. I can hear Elphie's voice throughout the whole piece. It just flows so beautifully. The Princess Nastoya sequence is especially well done. It feels like a section of the book pasted elsewhere. It's all the same story, you just have some new information to weave in.
"Child," the Princess Nastoya says fondly, "you have the sky. A mere Elephant is honored that an Eagle would choose her back to nest on." Not only can I hear the Princess, I can also just picture Elphie's slackjawed response. Perfect.
