Yeah, she's resigned, but she's trying nonetheless, isn't she? I mean, when she's telling Ginny to save the world herself there's something else, a bit of resignation and a bit of... I don't know. Just... something else. Or perhaps it's only me who feels there's something else, could also be the case ;)
I haven't read your other femgenficathon story, I must admit. I've been wanting to for ages but I never really get around to actually doing it. And regarding the examples - yes, that's exactly what I meant to say. No culture with such a heavy class distinction can be as equal regarding gender. And I'd be definitely interested in reading about your thoughts!
