I have a question about the eligibility of the fic idea I'm working on. The story is definitely about the female character; it's told through her POV, and is about how she comes to terms with her own relationship with her mother through seeing others' relationships with theirs. However, the main plot of the story features her helping a male character on a case, and he features prominently in the fic. I wasn't really sure whether that would be allowed or not, so I thought I'd ask.
