I admit rather guiltily that I've only just begun to read the offerings in this ficathon, and your story is the first. When I saw that you had written a scene from The Silmarillion, I could not pass it by. This brought tears to my eyes and caused goosebumps on my skin. You've done a wonderful job portraying Tolkien's voice and represented his characters faithfully, all the while inserting a wonderful story for us to enjoy. Thank you, from a (very old) Tolkien fan.
