Seeing Cain as still Cain but with a human side is great, but my favorite part of this was definitely Ellen. You do her sly comments so well--like the observation on not having to choose between marines and pilots. :) I also loved that Ellen was a marketing specialist. We really never got to see Ellen's life outside of her marriage, so it was really neat to think of her as having her own life and independent success, which gives her frustration and boredom on Galactica (and her pushing Tigh into gaining prestige, come to think of it) a whole new aspect.
