Summary: Charn is gone; nostalgia is useless. Jadis has new worlds to conquer, if she can only find the way.
Author's Notes: This is, about three times over, not the story I meant to write, though it is still about Jadis and her sister (after a fashion). Someday I will get those other stories finished as well. Thanks towillowgreen for her speedy and insightful beta-reading!
