Title: After the Kingfisher's Wing
Author: [livejournal.com profile] zuben_eschamali
Fandom: Supernatural
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: swearing
Prompt: #13: If the first woman God ever made was strong enough to turn the world upside down, these women together ought to be able to turn it right side up again.--Sojourner Truth (1797 – November 26, 1883), African-American abolitionist, women's rights activist, advocate for prison reform, anti-capital punishment activist, lecturer and saint of the Episcopal Church.
Summary: The battle isn't over just because they died on the field. Ellen and Jo find some allies in Heaven that they knew while they were alive and some that they didn't, and together they're the only ones who can make things right.
Author's Notes: Written as a series of double-drabbles for extra fun. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dugindeep and [livejournal.com profile] kasman for beta reading. The title is from T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets: "After the kingfisher's wing/Has answered light to light, and is silent, the light is still/At the still point of the turning world."

Title: "whoso pleaseth god"
Author: [livejournal.com profile] osmalic
Fandom: Supernatural
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: slightly horror, mythical/Biblical references
Prompt: 98) Justice is better than chivalry if we cannot have both. -- Alice Stone Blackwell.
Author's Notes: Before this gets Kripke'd big time. First, thanks to M who tried her best with the initial comments. And then a very big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] faelescaloris for the intensive beta. I don't think it was an easy job, tackling those commas, introducing parallelisms, and commenting on imagery, but she did it all wonderfully. For a complete stranger, too. Any mistakes found here, though, are mine.

Summary: There is a little girl standing at the doorway of the nursery. )

Prompt:  # 28 -- But if these people of the future are better than we are, they will, perhaps, look back at us with feelings of pity and tenderness for struggling souls who once divined a little of what the future would bring. --George Sand.
Summary:  A dream isn't always just a dream, but maybe that's something she's better off not knowing.
A/N:  Thanks to [personal profile] ignipes for the speedy beta and reminding me that Mary wasn't a Winchester at age twelve *g*  The title is taken from lyrics belonging to Concrete Blonde's Lullabye.
